If you enjoy third person shooters with a great storyline and interesting game-play, this may be worth checking out. The folks at gog.com have the original Advent Rising for download for the amazing price of $5.99.  For those of you not familiar with the game, the storyline is written by Orson Scott Card.  OSC is the amazing author of my favorite books, Ender’s Game. 

The game was originally released in 2005 and was planned to be a trilogy, but only two games were released (so far).

I loved playing Redneck Rampage back in the 90′s (sounds funny saying that). This DOS based game was awesome! A great soundtrack, wanton violence against humans, aliens and the unsuspecting cow or chicken. Who can forget the dynamite chicken arrow? And great quotes like..  “Time to open up a can of whoop-ass”
