Materials
- The USB drive we made in the previous step
- Download “SoftMod Deluxe 2.0″ using your favorite torrent
- Download “Xplorer360″ using your favorite torrent
- Download XDLS (Damn Small Linux) iso file from HERE and burn to a CD or DVD
Connect the USB drive to a Windows based PC (I used Windows7). Since the USB drive is formatted in FATX format, your PC will ask you to format it. Do not! Just close the pop ups.
Launch Xplorer360 and select Drive > Open > harddrive or memorycard
Drag your saved games over to the left pane of the Xplorer360 window. This will copy them to your USB drive.
Now unplug the USB drive from your PC and plug it into your XBOX using the custom cable that you made earlier
Pleace the Splinter Cell game in your XBOX and boot it up
Load the “Linux” saved game
You will now launch an Evox custom dashboard.
Be sure to backup your XBOX using the backup feature in this dashboard. You can now also FTP into your XBOX and make a copy of all of the drives and data. It is best to do this before you modify anything on your XBOX.
Install the ExolutionX dashboard to the XBOX hard drive.
Remove the Splinter Cell CD
